Fearsome Thing, founded in 2018 in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a production company existing in the centre of the cultural industry's venn diagram of what it is lacking, seeking to pioneer reform in regards to queer, neurodivergent and feminist representation.

The Sea Widow
An immersive theatrical performance with the aim of portraying the lives of the women of Gothenburg throughout history. Their men went out to sea, and sometimes never came back; they carried on. Independence, equality, feminism, love, community: Gothenburg.
Fearsome Thing's first major production in collaboration with Stigberg's Immersive, pioneering their vision to see historical immersive theatre expand and flourish in Gothenburg, working towards even more ambitious projects for the 400 year anniversary celebrations in 2021.
